My name is Nick Knappenburger. I have always had a passion for creating, and multimedia is my outlet for this passion. Whether it be making short films, photography, and everything in between, I love to create!
I have worked as a photo journalist for the newspaper The Daily Egyptian and had an internship as a digital media specialist for the True Friends non-profit organization. I then completed my Bachelor’s degree in Radio, TV, and Digital Media from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. I was accepted into SIU’s Graduate Program, where I received my Master’s of Science in Professional Media Management.
While attending grad school, I worked as a research assistant in the print photography lab, and then as the Program Publicist for Mass Communications and Media Arts Ph.D., MFA, and MA degree programs. I went on to work as a marketing assistant, then Marketing Director, at Joy Dog Food and Hi-Standard Dog Food, managing their social media and creating marketing content. I now work as the marketing coordinator for my Alma Mater at the Southern Illinois University Alumni Association.
This website is a dedicated platform for me to put my art out into the world. Please feel free to contact me for any business inquiries at the following links.
